Biomimetic Science and Engineering is a rapidly evolving interdisciplinary field that integrates biology, chemistry, physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, medicine, and related disciplines. The 8th International Conference on Bionic Engineering (ICBE 2026) that will be held on October 16-19 in Beijing, China aims to provide an international forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the latest advances, emerging ideas, and future directions in biomimetic science and engineering. The conference will facilitate academic exchange and collaboration among biomimetics researchers worldwide, promote the translation of biomimetic technologies, and address key challenges facing the field.

ICBE 2026 is hosted by International Society of Bionic Engineering, ISBE, and jointly organized by Beihang University and Jilin University. Researchers from academia and industry are warmly invited to submit original research papers and participate in the conference.
